About Brad Bailey

Brad Bailey graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Economics in 1987. He began his career at General Electric Industrial Systems, where he spent six years. With a life-long dream of being a lawyer, Brad left GE to attend law school at Widener University School of Law in Delaware. He graduated in 1998, and returned home to Charlotte.

Brad began his legal career in Charlotte as a contract attorney for Moore and Van Allen in their commercial litigation group. He then went to work for Groves Dunklin & Boggs as an associate. After GDB closed it’s doors, Brad was hired by Ralph McMillan and Dan Terry with McMillan and Terry as a residential real estate associate.

After nearly five years at McMillan & Terry, Brad started out on his own, forming The Bailey Law Group, PC in 2006. Brad hired two of the best paralegals with McMillan & Terry to join him – Ellen Rummage and Andy Clark.

Brad is married to Leah, a senior leasing associate for Trinity Partners. They have two daughters, Caroline, and Lily Grace, and live in nearby Providence Springs.

Brad is a member of both the North Carolina and Mecklenburg County Bar Associations, and the Real Property sections for both. Brad and his family attend Covenant Presbyterian Church and he is a member of Cedarwood Country Club. The Bailey Law Group is also a member of The Charlotte Chamber of Commerce.
